Dairy Free Chocolate Pudding

So rich and creamy!

Yield: 8 – 10 servings

You will need:

  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder, I like to use dark chocolate cocoa
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 3 cups dairy free milk, I like to use chocolate almond milk
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt


  • In a medium size saucepan mix cocoa powder, sugar, and cornstarch
  • Turn on the heat to a medium setting. Gradually pour in milk and continue stirring to prevent lumps, bringing the mixture to a boil
  • Once at a boil keep stirring for 2 minutes, then remove from heat
  • Stir in butter and vanilla extract
  • Scoop/pour mixture into individual containers or one large container
  • Let chill for 2 to 4 hours, once fully set and chilled enjoy!

  • Whipped cream and sprinkles
  • M&Ms and Reece’s
  • Crushed Oreos and gummy worms
